MADE ON EARTH

Nature, plastic, and print sculpture, 2021.

Fragments of nature are encased in plastic to show the relationship between natural resources and consumerism. Seven objects scavenged from the forest floor are packaged as if to be sold.

Each package is labeled by its name in English, Spanish, and Chinese. On the reverse is a QR code which links to the Wikipedia article for each respective piece of nature followed by the words “Made on Earth” and a barcode.

Made on Earth contemplates a time in which natural resources and knowledge about them is scare.
