SUN SONG

32oz. glass bottles, sun bleached paper, photography, and song, 2022.

Six glass bottles were filled with water and tuned to an A major chord (according to NASA’s sun sonification research, our sun resonates at an A note). The glass bottles sat in the sun from July 1, 2022 - July 31, 2022. The sun evaporated the water leaving a new scale of notes. The bottles were then used to create a song. Sun bleached prints on colored paper and daily sun photography accompany the glasses.
