GRASS IS GROWING UNDER OUR FEET

Grass fiber paper and digital print, 2022.

Wild grass was harvested and made into paper. Photos of the grass pre-harvest were taken and later printed on the surface. The past and present forms of the grass are displayed simultaneously. “Don’t let the grass grow under one’s feet”: This expression alludes to waiting so long that grass can grow. Exhibited at the Grand Theatre Art Gallery, Tracy, CA (March - May, 2022).
